It has taken me a few days but I am finally getting around to posting about the kids' first day back at school. It was a pretty uneventful morning. The kids were up early and very excited about returning. Atticus was a bit nervous and he hugged me many times and told me he "loved me" and would "miss me" which of course I loved...but when it finally came time for the separation he did very well. Once the kids started arriving in the classroom, he started playing and I snuck out. Murphy, Thornton and Trinity of course had no problem whatsoever in getting back into their routines and were happy to see all of their friends again. Even though it was a short week, it seemed like one of the longest weeks ever. Looking forward to a quiet Saturday. Sunday is church, county picnic then Thor's football game! Quick congrats to my niece Maureen. She just passed the Iowa bar. We are all very excited for her. She has graduated law school, passed the bar and now we are looking forward to her wedding in October. We are very excited for her!

Looks like a good first day of school for the kiddos.. I bet Bungie was a little lonely with them gone! Can't wait to see you guys!
