Little Saints 2009-2010
Murphy's basketball season has ended. At least the first phase of her basketball season. She now begins playing on a team with some of the girls she played with since December but now they are joined by about 6-7 new girls, who are mostly younger than Murphy and her current teammates. She really enjoyed playing this year and I think she is hooked for a while longer. We'll see how long it lasts. She will probably do a couple of basketball camps and then I think she will decide if this is really her thing or not. We never push, so we will see. We have enjoyed watching her games so whatever she decides is fine with us. She has come a long way in the last couple of months. Murphy has always had a knack for getting the ball into the basket. But putting all of the elements together; dribbling, shooting, playing defense, running plays, have all been pretty new for her. We will keep you apprised of her developments on the court! We hope she sticks with it for a few more years. We just invested in some wicked cool athletic glasses. They are not the most fashionable items but they do the trick! I'll try to find a picture of her in those!
