Atticus' Florida Birthday Party

Once again, Atticus' birthday took place while we were vacationing in Florida. Here we are in the land of Disney, and where does Atticus want to spend his big day?? At a rinky-dink go kart track and batting cages. The best part...we all had a blast! Aunt Lisbeth, Uncle Jeff, Mary A, Julia as well as Nana and Papa joined our family for an all day birthday party for Atticus. He started with a homemade breakfast of waffles. From there we went to the go-kart joint. After that we headed to Five Guys Burgers and then we went to see the move Rango. Loved every minute of it. But alas, that was not all. After the movie we went back to the condo for cookie cake and presents. It got to be so late, that we had to hold over the pinata bashing until the next morning. I'd say all and all it was a pretty fun birthday. I don't know about anyone else but I don't think our parents ever entertained us this much! :)

Aunt Lisbeth made him a birthday crown out of plastic
and beads! He wasn't a big fan but let me snap this
picture.

Waiting in line at the go-kart track for his big race.

Drivers start your engines!

Papa even got into the action!

Trinity gearing up for a tough race.

Uncle Jeff looks like a natural!

Murphy posing as she gets ready to burn rubber.

Michael drove Atticus around the course.

The birthday boy!

The birthday boy again!

Trinity was a speed demon all afternoon at the go
kart place! Here she passes her father.

One of my favorite pictures of the day...Trinity
looking back at her father after she passes him.

After go carting we went to Five Guys burgers...
again Atticus' choice.

Hanging out at Five Guys! It was still a beautiful
day and this was our worst weather day.

The cookie cake was decorated with
Atticus' two favorite things; fluff and
skittles!

The birthday boy asked for a cookie
cake instead of a regular cake. We
made it instead of ordering it. Sorry
it was the best we could do on vacation!

Atticus giving it his all.

The pinata is finally a goner.
I think Thor did the honors.
