A Day at the Lake

It was very hot here this weekend. If it's hot and it's the weekend, more than likely you are going to find us at the lake. This weekend was especially special, as Michael joined us. He's not one to spend much time at the lake. There's no television, no place for him to cook and too much nature. However, since he was out of town for a few days(at Saratoga) I think he felt it would be good to spend a few hours with the family at the lake. It was a beautiful day. Kids didn't want to do much swimming though. Our last visit at the lake had some of them (Murphy) being attacked by fish and there was also a sighting of a snake. I think that had something to do with at least Murphy's tentativeness. Initially, they all stayed out of the water, except for Thor, who jumped right in. Eventually, all were in the water. We didn't stay long. Just long enough to cool off. That is the beauty of the Fauci cottage. For my family, that doesn't know, the lake is only about 15 minutes from our house which is wonderful. We can spend the day at the cottage and then come home to all of the amenities of our home. Anyway, here is just a snapshot of day at the lake. No different than any other time at the lake, it's just that this time we remembered to bring a camera!
