Friday night, as promised, we celebrated Trinity's 7th birthday. She wanted pancakes for dinner and pancakes she got. I decided we would have numerous pancake toppings to make things a little more festive. There were plain, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes. Once you chose your pancake, you could choose from a variety of decorations and syrups; maple syrup, strawberry syrup, blueberry syrup, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, jimmies, and whipped cream. Can you imagine eating all of that and then having cake! Well, we did it. And actually I couldn't even eat the cake. I know many of you who know me would find this hard to believe but even for me that was too many carbs!!
Our friend Deb Harter joined us and also a friend of mine and Michael's from about 15-20 years ago also stopped in. She was in town visiting her ailing mother, so Candi Martin stopped by to have dinner with us and help us celebrate. It was nice catching up with her and Deb is always a wonderful guest. Deb brought Trinity a present AND Atticus. Because we are going to be in Florida for Atticus' birthday she wanted to give him a little something before we left.
