Trinity Officially turned 7 today. While this is her official birthday, we have actually been celebrating all week. On Saturday, the whole family went to our local mall. Trinity and her Daddy picked out 4-5 DS games(some were used...so don't get excited). Then on Sunday, Trinity, Murphy and I headed to Syracuse to watch their cousin, Molly, in a high school production of High School Musical. It was actually a really nice musical. Before we went to see the show, we stopped at the Syracuse Mall so Trinity could get something at the Build a Bear Workshop. She has been obsessed with monkeys for several years now so it was no surprise that she chose a monkey to build.
This morning, we started the birthday off with a plate full of blueberry muffins. Then Trinity carried a tray full of cupcakes for her classmates. Tonight, we had to attend a fundraiser put on by a friend of ours so Trinity agreed to hold off on her official birthday celebration until Friday night. She was quite amiable about the entire thing. At this point she is asking for pancakes for her birthday dinner. Michael is not a big fan of breakfast at dinner so it's possible he will sway her in another direction. Pancakes sound pretty good to me. We also have a My Little Pony cake waiting of her at the Giant! Katie, I'm with you. Store bought cakes are so easy and the kids really enjoy them, so why go any other route.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Trinity. You bring sunshine into our lives every day and smiles to our faces every minute of every hour!
